1. It was agreed that a website is needed to be set up quickly so that it can be used as a marketing tool and to help Rafflesians and Singaporeans in general understand why there is a need to preserve the Clock tower and wings.

2. It was also agreed that we would attempt to preserve the clock tower and wings rather than just the clock tower itself, as the tower and wings really make the site look iconic and majestic.

3. Meng Foo is to work on a write up on the architectural merits of the RI clock tower and the school, while Kin Keong would do a write up on what it meant to be in RI and what it represents, the history and making of Singapore and its education system, ie the egalitarian/meritocratic nature of the school, sentiments towards public schools, its majesty, the emotive aspects, the need to preserve the era, going beyond a functional approach and tying in how education developed through the colonial attempt to bring education.

4. Romen will combine the two write ups to build the strong narrative we need and this will be used on the website and for all our marketing/recruitment/fundraising purposes. It will also form the main thread on the website.

5. Once this is ready, Teck Kiat and his team can then approach stakeholders like the ORA, the school and various other groups to start soliciting support and help.

6. Abir is to look at setting up the website and will purchase a suitable website name and domain, so that work can begin on that. Ricky will be assisting Abir in getting the site up and running.

7. Meng Choo is to introduce Abir to RI Museum head Cheryl Yap, so that Abir/Ricky can get more information on how the school was built etc. Those details (which are likely to have been articles already written and published in the Rafflesian in 1971/72) can also be copied and placed on the website.

8. Meng Choo is to help provide photographs of the clock tower and school (many of which he has taken in recent months) to Abir for use on the website.

9. There is also a need to build a 3D model of the school and a place to temporarily store materials and the model itself. Meng Choo is to discuss funding of this with Patrick.

10. The idea is to have the website up by the end of July 2024.

11. A virtual 3D model is likely to be completed by August 2024 (Meng Choo)

12. Meng Choo will also do a photo-essay (for use on the website etc)

13. The photos can also be used on an Instagram account to be set up by Abir.

14. We will need initial seed funds for the website setup etc, 3D model creation, storage and workshops, etc.

15. We are planning to have the next meeting before the website is completed in end July 2024.
